The Aggrolites ~ FREE CONCERT

Bud Light ‘Rocks the Boat’ – Gondola Square

Saturday, March 16th ~ 3pm

The Aggrolites are more than a band, they are a movement unto themselves. They carry a banner - one created with their own hands. This banner reads, “Dirty Reggae,” and represents their signature fusion of reggae, soul, grit and determination. For seven magnificent years, this dirty reggae bunch has rolled from city to city, across the pond and up main street USA. They rally the kids, the parents, the students, the cops, the bosses and the drifters. The people come, they relish in The Aggrolites, the dirty reggae and the joy that comes with it all. The liberating rhythms and catchy grooves demand a return trip.

Young Dubliners ~ FREE CONCERT

Saturday, March 9th, 3pm ~ Steamboat Stage, Gondola Square

The hard-rocking Irish band, the Young Dubliners owe everything to their fans. "They keep us honest, expecting good music both on the road and on the albums," mentions frontman Keith Roberts.  The inspiration for Real World, the group's third record on Higher Octave, is drawn from the trials and tribulations of being a real, working band and their life on the road. "We are all aware of how lucky we are to be making a living by doing what we love. Without being on the road and playing to our fans, that just wouldn't be possible," Roberts explains. Building a fervent fan base comparable to that of jam band rockers like Phish, The Young Dubliners have become notorious for the whirling "jig pits" that erupt at their live shows.

The Bear River Terrace showed that it is the place to be, providing the ultimate viewing spot for all the Bud Light Rocks the Boat concerts this past season. Rocks the Boat Concert Series is presented by Bud Light and the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation.
