Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in participating as a volunteer at Steamboat’s OktoberWest.  We have several opportunities for you to help out on this event. Below is a list of spots, the hours and a description of the type of work you will be doing.

Perimeter Greeter:  You are the welcome hosts of the OktoberWest event.  We have several entry points and these volunteers will greet guests, thank guests as they leave and make sure they are not bringing food or beverages in or out of the event area.
Times: 12:45pm – 3pm, 3pm – 6pm

Door/Will Call: Work in our General Store selling tasting steins, I Love Beef Cook Off wristbands and T-shirts.
Times: 12:45pm – 3pm, 3pm – 6pm

Event Set up and Breakdown:
These volunteers will help prepare the site for the event as well as help with taking it all down at the end of the day.  Duties may include setting up tents, placing tables and chairs, moving kegs and steins, placing signs and recycling bins  and hanging banners.
Times: 11:00am – 1pm and 6pm – 7pm
