Group Summer Dining... Steamboat Style!

Are you looking for a unique group lunch or outing?

Take your team to lunch, celebrate a birthday, take a mid-week break on “Hump Day,” or just because!   In our beautiful backyard - Mt Werner, our expert ambassadors will guide your group along a gentle 1 mile hike, highlighting the many natural features, wildlife and vegetation of the outdoors followed by a glass of wine and delicious luncheon.

This informative hike is offered Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays beginning June 27th throughout our summer season, appropriate for all levels, and is a bargain at $35 pp., inclusive with a minimum of 10 participants.

Thinking about something a little less rigorous?  Have a group picnic or BBQ on our Bear River Deck and Umbrella Bar aside the newly day-lighted babbling Burgess Creek!  This serene setting is not to be missed at $18 all inclusive with a minimum of 10 participants. Picnic choices are pre-determined by you with all of the sides, fixins’, desert, and lemonade or iced tea.

The kids might enjoy the Coca Cola Adventure zone opening 6/15.  Perfect for birthday parties, family reunions, or office team building!!  Ask about our entire Adventure Zone rentals or bulk ticket purchases for groups!!

A River Runs Through It

Formerly diverted underground and hidden from Mountain Village visitors, Burgess Creek is now an incredible place to enjoy.  The day-lighting process of the creek has returned the soothing sounds of rushing melted snow to the base of Mt. Werner. 

This summer, while you enjoy the new Promenade from Gondola Square to Torian Plum Plaza, don't forget to stop and dip your feet into our newest water feature.  Sit, relax and and enjoy this natural beauty at our mountain base.

New Mountain Village Executive Director

Willis Wodnik to Serve as Executive Director
of Mountain Village Partnership

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! ~ Event specialist and owner of Colorado Event Rentals, Willis Wodnik, has been named the Executive Director of the Steamboat Mountain Village Partnership, Inc.

“The Mountain Village Partnership organization has come a long way since its inception and Willis’ expertise will help continue the positive momentum and guide new programs and events for the future,” said Katie Brown, president of the Mountain Village Partnership. “With the unveiling of the Promenade in the ski resort base area this summer, the mountain village looks to leverage opportunities around this tremendous community asset.”  

Willis will be providing his services through an agreement between the Mountain Village Partnership and his company, Colorado Event Rentals (CER).  In this capacity, CER and Willis will be responsible, among other things, for event management, fundraising, and membership recruitment and communication for the Mountain Village Partnership. Willis has over 10 years of experience with party and event planning in addition to extensive knowledge of the mountain village community.  

Several new nightly programs as well as Mountain Village Partnership signature events are currently planned for the 2012 summer. Key events include:

•  Two Wheel Tuesdays (Tuesday evenings starting July 3rd)
• 4th Annual OktoberWest (September 21-23)
• Future events will include bike-in movie, special theme nights, live music and more.

The Steamboat Mountain Village Partnership is a business organization created to encourage visitation to the mountain village base area and serve as a resource to mountain village businesses and programs.   Currently, the Mountain Village Partnership enjoys membership from over 30 businesses representing retail, rental, lodging, and restaurants.
